As a bilingual English- and Spanish-speaking clinician, I conduct evaluations directly in either language — so you can tell your story in the language you're most comfortable in.

Most evaluations are completed in a single, approximately three-hour virtual clinical interview. Additional time or a second appointment may be scheduled for more complex cases.
3. Psychological Assessment
When clinically appropriate, standardized screening measures may be used to assess symptoms related to depression, anxiety, trauma, and other areas of mental health.
4. Comprehensive Written Report
After the interview, all information is carefully reviewed and incorporated into a detailed psychological evaluation report addressing the relevant clinical findings and psychological impact.
5. Attorney Coordination
With your written authorization, I can communicate directly with your immigration attorney regarding relevant records, declarations, case information, and clinically appropriate questions.

Will you speak with my attorney?
Yes, with your written permission. A signed Release of Information is required before I communicate with your attorney or release any confidential information.
Can my attorney send you my declaration or other documents?
Yes. Relevant declarations, timelines, prior mental health records, medical records, and other supporting documents may be reviewed when clinically appropriate.
Can you tell me whether I qualify for VAWA, a T Visa, U Visa, Asylum, or a hardship waiver?
No. Immigration eligibility and legal strategy should be discussed with your immigration attorney. My role is to provide an independent clinical evaluation of relevant psychological and emotional factors.
Does an evaluation guarantee that my immigration case will be approved?
No. A psychological evaluation provides clinical information that may support your immigration matter, but it cannot guarantee a particular legal outcome.
Can you become my therapist after completing my immigration evaluation?
Because an immigration evaluation requires clinical objectivity, evaluation services are kept separate from ongoing psychotherapy. When appropriate, I can provide referrals for therapeutic support.
